Congratulations Sherry!

During the 2026 Illinois State Fair County Fair Luncheon, our very own Sherry Repp was honored with the County Fair Person of the Year Award for her extraordinary dedication to preserving traditions and strengthening the future of the county fair community.

Sherry has been part of the Martinsville Agricultural Fair since she was just 13 years old and has spent more than six decades serving as our Secretary, historian, archivist, and institutional memory. Her passion and knowledge have helped preserve the traditions of our fair while also benefiting county fairs throughout Illinois and Indiana, including the Illinois State Fair.

We are incredibly honored to have Sherry as part of the Martinsville Agricultural Fair family. Having her receive this award during our 80th anniversary year makes this celebration even more special!
